LISA HUTCHESON, Managing Partner, J.C. Williams Group
Lisa Hutcheson is a seasoned retailer executive having started her career nearly 30 years ago on the sales floor. Lisa has held senior leadership roles for two of Canada’s largest multi-store retailers where she led internal teams of over 1,000 employees to accomplish major corporate strategic initiatives. In 2003, Lisa founded her own boutique consulting practice when she decided to put her knowledge and expertise to work to help retailers who wish to strengthen their competitive position. In 2019, Lisa acquired and merged her firm with J.C. Williams Group, a global retail consulting firm specializing in retail strategy, operations/HR, main street revitalization and shopping centre redevelopment.
Lisa is a frequent keynote speaker on retail best practice and innovation. She has authored two books in the Retail 4G series of digital books published by the Retail Council of Canada and is also a part-time Professor at Seneca College, teaching in the Retail Business Management faculty.
