Digital Tools, Software, and Apps to Efficiently Manage Your Small Business – Delivered by: Camp Tech


From accounting to scheduling, file sharing to project management, there are digital tools to help with every aspect of running a small business. Knowing which ones are right for you can be a challenge though. This beginner-level workshop will help you learn what’s out there to help you manage with efficiency and ease.

You’ll learn:

  • What the most efficient, cost-effective apps are available for accounting, productivity, communications, customer relationship management, file storage and sharing, scheduling and calendar management, and artificial intelligence
  • How best to evaluate software and apps for running your small business
  • How different apps work together (or in some cases, don’t! We’ll go over how to know)
  • Which software and apps are worth paying for, and which have a free or low-cost alternative

Afterwards, you’ll be able to:

  • Audit your existing digital tools and systems
  • Select and implement cost-effective digital tools tailored to your small business needs
  • Evaluate, seamlessly integrate, and optimize digital tools, resulting in a highly efficient business workflow
  • Enhance your business capacity by strategically streamlining productivity and day-to-day operations using digital solutions

This in-person workshop is for anyone who wants to learn how to use digital advertising to boost their online presence and reach more customers.

Event Location Directions:

This event will take place in the Howser boardroom at VentureNorth. To get to the boardroom, proceed to the elevator in the main lobby and press “G” for Ground Level. The boardroom will be immediately in front of the elevator doors.


Parking is not permitted in the VentureNorth parking lot, as it permitted parking for building tenants. There is on-street parking along Water St. and George St., as well as parking in the King St. Parkade parking garage (a 2-minute walk from the VentureNorth building).

Light refreshments will be served.
