Our Skilled Workforce

Peterborough & the Kawarthas offers access to an eager, educated workforce with 76.2% of the labour force attaining post-secondary credentials (higher than the provincial average of 71.8%). More than this the workforce reflects that most of the local talent has pursued practical, applied learning either in the trades or with a college diploma.

Over 30% of our local labour force being employed in creative economy occupations, including strength in occupations involving health, education, law and social, community and government services.
