Peterborough & the Kawarthas Economic Development (PKED) is the lead regional economic development agency contracted to conduct core economic development activities on behalf of the City of Peterborough and Peterborough County. PKED reports publicly to City and County councils to provide updates on activities, progress, and challenges.
In addition to regular reporting, PKED also produces a Future Ready Report Card to track the progress of the 2020-2024 Future Ready Regional Economic Development Strategy, which guides the activities undertaken by the organization in partnership with local municipalities and economic development partners.
