PTBO HAULiday Gifting Getaway

To encourage fall shoulder season visitation, Peterborough & the Kawarthas Tourism (PKT) launched the PTBO HAULiday Gifting Getaway. Visitors that stayed between Nov 14-Dec 23 at participating Peterborough hotels received a gift bag filled with locally curated gifts, PKT swag, and a $100 Boro Gift Card to spend in downtown Peterborough.

PKT re-entered the Toronto market with this campaign, advertising on the radio with NEWSTALK 1010 and CHUM 104.5, as well as digital ads on the Marilyn Denis Show and CTV news sites. Ads were placed in elevators in 56 condo buildings throughout downtown Toronto, and social media ads were heavily targeted in the Toronto region.

Two contests were held promoting the campaign in partnership with Ultimate Ontario and Attractions Ontario. Both winners were from outside the region.
